For every phase — from first period to menopause — Maeva meets you where you are.

Whether you’re managing symptoms, trying to conceive, navigating change, or simply learning your body’s language.

From the Old French “mais” (better) and “vue” (seen) — because women’s health deserves both.

[ma.e.va] noun

Women's hormonal conditions take years to name. Endometriosis takes 7 - 10. PCOS and perimenopause get missed or waved off all the time. It's not that women can't describe what's happening to them. It's that the way they describe it doesn't fit how medicine records and acts on information.

Maeva sits in that gap. We're not building another tracker, and we're not handing women more homework. We're building what happens to a woman's own account of her symptoms once it needs to reach a clinician.

Who We Are

We’re Chiara and Tilman.

Chiara Böhme brings a background in design and strategy, from Parsons Paris to the University of St. Gallen. After years of navigating hormonal health herself, she wrote her bachelor thesis on the field’s lack of funding and found that her experience was far from singular: the same frustration, anxiety, and unanswered questions came up again and again.

Tilman Otto is completing his M.Sc. in Statistics at ETH Zürich. His master’s thesis in computational phenotyping, developed with ETH’s Medical Data Science group and the University Children’s Hospital Zürich, shaped how he sees medicine: as structured data over time. Yet hormonal health still depends on memory, a short appointment, and what a patient can recall that day.

We’re building Maeva so women can walk in with their story already clear.
